Itinerary

Day 1: Windhoek > Kalahari Desert

Depart Windhoek early this morning for the Kalahari via The Tropic of Capricorn. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Kalahari with sundowners on top of a dune.

Day 2: Kalahari Desert > Fish River Canyon

Depart your lodge this morning and travel to Fish River Canyon. Stop en-route at the Quiver Tree Forest. Visit the second largest dam in Namibia at Naute Dam, fed by the Lowen River.

Day 3: Fish River Canyon > Klein Aus Vista

Enjoy a morning exploration of Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. Explore the area and take a walk along the canyon rim. Continue on to Klein Aus Vista, a semi-desert area reminiscent of a Hollywood Western set.

Day 4: Klein Aus Vista > Maltahoehe

Enjoy morning at leisure, with an optional excursion to Kolmanskop. Early afternoon departure for the Maltahoehe region.

Day 5: Maltahoehe > Namib Desert

Early departure and travel to Sossusvlei through the Tsauchab River Valley with views to some of the highest dunes in the world. Enjoy a 4x4 excursion along a river bed into the heart of the Namib Desert. Travel past the impressive Naukluft Mountains to your lodge.

Day 6: Namib Desert > Swakopmund

Morning transfer via Solitaire and the Kuiseb Canyon to the desert plains of Namib and Walvis Bay. Explore Walvis Bay Lagoon before continuing on to Swakopund. Enjoy an afternoon excursion to the Moon landscape - an area which was formed by intense volcanic rock 200 million years ago.

Days 7 & 8: Swakopmund

Days at leisure. (Southern Namibia option concludes on day 7). (Northern Namibia commences on day 8).

Day 9: Swakopmund > Damaraland

Depart Swakopmund for your full days' journey to Damaraland, with stops en-route at Henties Bay, Uis and Twyfelfontein, one of the most important archaeological sites in Namibia.

Day 10: Damaraland

Optional morning sunrise hike. In the late afternoon we go in search of elusive desert elephants.

Day 11: Damaraland > Etosha National Park

Morning departure to Etosha National Park, stop at a local Himba village en-route. Enjoy an afternoon game drive into Etosha National Park.

Days 12 & 13: Etosha National Park

Two full days of game viewing in Etosha National Park.

Day 14: Etosha National Park > Windhoek

Depart Etosha National Park this morning for a full day journey back to Windhoek, with stops en-route at Otjiwarongo and a craft market. Arrive at Windhoek late this afternoon where your tour concludes.
