On your arrival at Delhi International Airport, after completing immigration and customs formalities you will be met and transferred to your Hotel.

This afternoon, we proceed on a tour of New Delhi visiting the Qutub Minar. Drive through the Embassy area, Connaught Place, the heart and main shopping district of the capital and to Humayun’s Tomb, also known as the forerunner to the Taj Mahal.


Day 03/09 Feb Delhi (B)    

This morning after breakfast, we cross the city into the walled gates of Old Delhi. Our tour includes a visit to the “Jama Mosque” (1650) and drive through the fabled area of “Chandni Chowk”. Then we drive past the Red Fort (1639-1648) built by Shahjehan, the builder of the Taj Mahal in Agra. Later visit Raj Ghat to pay homage to Father of the Indian Nation – Mahatma Gandhi.

Day 04/10 Feb Delhi – Varanasi (B)    

This morning, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Varanasi

On arrival at Varanasi Airport, you will be met and taken for the visit of Sarnath. At the ancient Buddhist learning center of Sarnath, where Gautam Buddha preached his first sermon to his disciples as portrayed in Bernardo Bertolucci’s film “Little Buddha.”

Your accommodation in Varanasi for 02 nights at Hotel Ramada - 4* (Club Room) including breakfast

In the evening witness the Aarti ceremony on the Ganges. As the day comes to a close, we’ll ride by rickshaw through the bustling streets to the bathing ghats located alongside the sacred River Ganges. People flock in large numbers every day to bathe and worship in the temples built beside the riverbank. Feel the timelessness of Varanasi as the sun sets and as the temple priests perform aarti, the sacred light ceremony, on the banks of Mother Ganga.


Day 05/11 Feb Varanasi (B)

Early morning we take you to the banks of river Ganges where we board a boat to see the morning ablutions of the Hindus from the safety of our boat. The “boat ride” will also give you a spectacular view of a sunrise on the River Ganges. Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Late morning, enjoy the city tour; we visit the largest and oldest university in north India – Benaras Hindu University. The temple “Bharat Mata Temple” is dedicated to Mother India. It was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1936 so that the citizens could respect Mother India in statue form sculpted in marble.

Day 06/12 Feb Varanasi – Udaipur (B)

Today, at an appointed time you will be collected from your Hotel and transferred to Varanasi Airport for your flight to Udaipur via Delhi

This evening, enjoy one hour boat ride on Lake Pichola. A romantic and serene city, Udaipur nestles in the scenic valley of Aravali hills, surrounded by three lakes – Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar and Udai Sagar.


Day 07/13 Feb Udaipur (B)    

This morning enjoy a city tour of Udaipur, visiting the City Palace (one of the largest palaces in Rajasthan, which is now a museum, royal residence and luxury hotel) and Jagdish Temple.

City Palace: Located on the shore of Lake Pichola, the 300 year old City Palace & Museum’s walls tower 30m and stretch 250m across. The whole complex comprises of 11 palaces built by successive Maharanas, making it by far the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Noteworthy buildings here are the 17th century Mor (Peacock) Chowk with its large peacock mosaics, the mirror-encrusted Moti Mahal, the glass and porcelain figures of Manak (Ruby) Mahal, which has a central garden; the collection of miniatures featuring Krishna legends in Krishna Vilas, the Zenana Mahal (Palace of the Queens), and the Chinese and Dutch ceramics of Chini Mahal.

Day 08/14 Feb Udaipur – Sardargarh (B)    

Today you will be transferred to Sardargarh, one of the magnificent forts of Rajasthan, is an extravagant creation by men of a bygone era. Placed amidst the mountains and deep forests of Chuppun, Sardar Singh, one of the most powerful Dhodhias, built the Sardargarh Fort from 1738 to 1743. You can see the ramparts of the Sardargarh like a great ship anchored at outer sea, much before you get close to the gigantic walls soaring high above the village of Lawah.

Day 09/15 Feb Sardargarh – Jodhpur (B)

Day 10/16 Feb Jodhpur (B)    

This morning, visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort that has fine views over the city.  This 15th-century looming edifice to Rajput valor is still Rajasthan's most impressive fort, with sheer cliff like wall that rise to 120m (400 ft.) high. Located inside is one of India's finest museums with rich collection of palanquins, royal cradles, miniature paintings, musical instruments, costumes, furniture, and armor of royal household. Visit Moti Mahal, featuring the throne on which every Marwar Maharaja has been crowned; and Phool Mahal, the "dancing hall" with its pure gold ceiling. After visiting the courtyard of Chamunda (Sun Goddess) Temple, take the lane that leads to the left to view what is apparently among the rarest collections of cannons in India.

Day 11/17 Feb Jodhpur – Jaipur (B)    

Today you will depart from Jodhpur and drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, transfer to the Hotel.

Jaipur is the capital state of Rajasthan also known as the “Pink City” built by the great warrior and even better astronomer, Raja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727; Jaipur is full of formidable forts, enchanting palaces and lovely temples. The city was completed in eight years.

Also this city is a paradise for shoppers; Jaipur offers jewellery, carpets & rugs, textiles and other good deals.

Day 12/18 Feb Jaipur (B)    

Today visit Amber Fort; included is an elephant ride/Jeep ride. Perched on a hill 11km from Jaipur and nestling among the Aravali Hills is the historic fort-palace. Set in a picturesque background, the splendid Amber Fort (Jaigarh) was built in 1600 by Raja Man Singh, commander-in-chief of the Mughal army during Akbar’s reign and greatest general of medieval India. There is a timeless appeal to Jaipur’s colorful bazaars where one can shop for Rajasthani handlooms and trinkets.

The rest of your day is to yourselves to immerse further into the City of Jaipur.

 

Day 13/19 Feb Jaipur (B/D)

Day at leisure to explore the city in your own time, perhaps buy some textiles, shop in the markets or relax by the pool.


Day 14/20 Feb Jaipur – Samode (B/D)    

After a leisurely start, leave Jaipur for a short drive to Samode. Samode is a place of great interest for people who appreciate culture and local arts. The village or town is famous for its magnificent havelis, mansions and handicrafts and a great place to see the rural life and flavors of Rajasthan.

Join us as we visit the unique Sheroes Café for refreshments and deliver our fundraising donations from this tour to the victims of acid burns. These ladies who have suffered so horrifically have come together to bring awareness and build their lives from these shocking attacks. An inspirational visit that will pull on the hearts of all who spend time here and be empowered by their strength and determination to live normal lives.

Day 17/23 Feb Agra – Delhi (B/D)

Today we visit the famous wonder Taj Mahal, this grand edifice was built by Shahjehan from 1631 to 1653 to enshrine the remains of his Queen Mumtaz Mahal.

We walk into the inner chambers of this renowned “Monument to Love" and seek out several vantage points to see the magnificent play of light. It is truly worthy of its status as one of the world wonders.

Afternoon travel to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to the Hotel.
